Exercise equipment and playground upgrades

The City of Vincent is undergoing an update to some of our much loved play and exercise areas.

From exercise equipment to playgrounds, it's time to refresh your play.

Ivy Park

A much loved little park tucked away off busy Charles Street, Ivy Park playground has been a hit with neighbourhood kids for over 20 years.

However it has now reached the end of its usable life and requires a makeover.

Based on feedback received during consultation, and in-line with the allocated budget, key features of the new playground design include:

  • Play components for a mixed age groups including tornado basket swing, two slides and sensory play.
  • Nature inspired steel framed playground equipment with wooden elements
  • Rubber soft fall connecting the playground ramp, xylophone and accessible dipper rocker to the brick paving.
  • Soft fall sand under the main play structure
  • Soft fall mulch under the tornado basket

Due to budget constraints within this project shade sails will be installed as part of future budget.

Estimated Installation Timeframe: UPDATED Monday 7 August - Friday 18 August 2023
