Public Open Space Strategy

The City of Vincent has a unique blend of parks, reserves and civic spaces within its boundaries. These public open spaces provide our community with space to exercise, socialise and participate in recreational, art and cultural activities.

Public open space is land that is freely accessible by the community for a variety of purposes, including popular parks such as Hyde Park, small local playgrounds, sporting fields and civic spaces such as the Mary Street Piazza.

The Public Open Space Strategy will provide a framework to guide the planning, development and management of City of Vincent's public open space now and in the future.

The City will be giving the community and other stakeholders a number of opportunities to engage with this process and contribute ideas to the overall strategy.
