What is the purpose of the diagonal diversion?
The intent of the diagonal diversion is to divert large commercial vehicles servicing the shopping precinct away from residential streets to use roads better aligned with the traffic demands.

How will the city measure the trial?
Vincent will be collecting traffic data, which will include traffic volumes (including heavy vehicles) as well as speed data along several streets in the vicinity of the trial area every month during the six-month trial.
Who has approved this kind of road treatment?
This plan has been designed in accordance with the Australian Standards guidelines, combined with the Main Roads WA regulatory signs and line marking standards. This trial has been approved and signed off by Main Roads WA.
How will delivery trucks access the shopping complex?
Trucks and other heavy vehicles can use Fitzgerald Street (a district distributary A road) to access Alma Road for delivery purposes.
