Consultation has concluded

The City of Vincent is proposing amendments to Appendix No. 16 - Design Guidelines for Perth and Appendix No. 18 - Design Guidelines for William Street. The objective of the Appendices and the proposed amendments is to align the built form outcomes, particularly building height, in the Appendices and draft Amendment 2 to Local Planning Policy 7.1.1 – Built Form.

The amendments relate to:

  • the half-street block bounded by Fitzgerald, Stuart, Newcastle and Palmerston Streets (shown below). In this area it is proposed that building height be 4 storeys instead of 3 adjacent to the street; and

  • William Street, between Brisbane and Newcastle Streets (shown below), is a proposed building height of 4 storeys instead of 3 adjacent to the street; and 6 storeys instead of 4 within the sites.

The full draft appendices and tracked changes from the existing appendices are available in the document library.
