Why?

City of Vincent is developing its first Youth Action Plan (YAP) for 12-25 year olds, to ensure a youth voice is considered in decision making and planning as our city continues to grow and change.

Information gathered from the survey (below) will help us understand what YOUR dream for our youth community looks like, so that we can work towards making that dream a reality.

The YAP is underpinned by the Strategic Community Plan 2018 -2028 which is aligned with the City’s priorities - Enhanced Environment, Accessible City, Connected Community, Thriving Places, Sensitive Design & Innovative and Accountable. The YAP will contribute to supporting our young people to reach their full potential and reflecting their needs, priorities and ambitions.

How

Vincent’s Community Partnerships team is undertaking extensive community consultation over the next few months, reaching as many young people 12-25 years as possible. You’ll see us around at lots of upcoming community events, online, and on the streets talking to people.

We also want to hear from parents, carers and other community members about their thoughts on youth priorities, issues and opportunities.
