Consultation has concluded
The City of Vincent is undertaking a statutory review of the City’s ward system and we invite you to have your say.
Under the Local Government Act 1995, the City should review its wards from time to time and at least every eight years. The current ward system and its boundaries were last reviewed in 2010.
The City has two wards (North and South) with four councillors elected for each ward, and a Mayor elected at large. The current ward boundaries are outlined below.
A discussion paper has been prepared that outlines the City’s current ward system, the review process and options for change.
To share your thoughts, the below survey will be open until 9am Saturday 19 January 2019.
For more information, contact A/Manager Governance & Risk on 9273 6000 or email mail@vincent.wa.gov.au
Submissions can also be emailed mail@vincent.wa.gov.au and titled ‘Ward review’, hand delivered or posted to the City: 244 Vincent Street (cnr Loftus Street) Leederville, Western Australia or PO Box 82 Leederville 6902 WA.
