The City of Vincent has launched its refreshed Strategic Community Plan (SCP) 2022 – 2032 which will pave the way for decision-making for the next decade.

The SCP is Vincent’s most significant guiding document.

Council adopted the updated plan in May following a lengthy community consultation process.

We're reviewing our Strategic Community Plan (SCP). This is the City’s most significant guiding document that establishes the community’s vision for Vincent’s future.

The SCP drives our planning, budgeting, resource allocation and service delivery over the next decade, in order to focus our efforts and align our activities to achieve the community’s vision.

Why are we reviewing the SCP?

Under the Local Government Act 1995, the City is required to undertake a major review of the SCP every four years. The current SCP is for the period 2018-2028. Once revised, it will cover the period 2022-2032.

Community consultation ran from 9 March 2022 to 11 June 2022. A summary of the consultation methods and outcomes is available in the documents section to the right of this page. The feedback has been incorporated into the Draft SCP 2022-2032 and has been summarised here.

Feedback on the draft SCP will be used to inform the final edits to the SCP 2022 - 2032, which will be presented to Council for adoption over the coming months.
