The City of Vincent is revoking Policy No. 7.5.5 Satellite Dishes, Microwave Antennae and Tower Masts, and seeking community feedback.
Background
In August 2025 Council approved the revocation of Policy No. 7.5.5 Domestic Satellite Dishes, Microwave Antennae and Tower Masts for the purpose of community consultation.
This policy includes standards and objectives that guide the development of residential telecommunications infrastructure, including antennae, satellite dishes and tower masts.
The standards and objectives of the Telecommunications Policy (which was in place prior) duplicate the outcomes covered by Policy No. 7.1.1 Built Form and the Residential Design Codes. It has therefore been superseded and can be revoked.
Policy No. 7.5.5 can be viewed in the Documents section to the right of this page.
