Exercise equipment and playground upgrades

The City of Vincent is undergoing an update to some of our much loved play and exercise areas.

We want your thoughts around what you would like to see in some of the City's most iconic recreation spaces.

From exercise equipment to playgrounds, it's time to refresh your play.

Les Lilleyman Reserve

The playground equipment at Les Lilleyman Reserve is around 21 years old.

It's much loved and well used but it’s time for a facelift.

Although structurally sound, components of the playground are due for a refresh.

We want to know what you love about the playground and what you would like to see in the future.

Gladstone Park

Remember Britney's 'One more time'? Well this playground is as old as that smash hit.

Installed in 1999 it's looking tired and a bit outdated.

Although it's situated near a industrial area, the playground is used regularly by local youth groups, and is the closest playground to NIB stadium in an area of the City where public space is well utilised.

What would you like for Gladstone?

A new swing set, another small flying fox or slide?

Let us know how we can make this space right for our community.

Menzies Fitness

You work out?

Why not get a session in at Menzies. We're planning to revitalise the 14 year-old exercise equipment on site.

With age the existing equipment is becoming very costly to repair.

There are currently three stations around the perimeter of the park.

We want to know what type of work out you want and where you want it located at Menzies.

Forrest Fitness

Forrest fitness first! The exercise equipment at Forrest Park is very well used.

It's starting to look a little worse for wear and we know it's time for a revamp.

There are currently four stations around the perimeter of the park, two of which are in the designated dog exercise area.

We want to know what type of equipment you would like in Forrest Park and where you would like us to put it?
