Project Prototype

A single line to introduce what the consultation is specifically about and option to include a call to action (value feedback, complete survey below etc.).

Background

It's useful for people to understand how we got here, so provide some context, tell the story behind this consultation. Consider including, referencing or providing links to:

  • relevant Council reports
  • any strategies or policies
  • significant stages
  • research
  • previous community consultations

Project Details

This section is an opportunity to describe the 'what'. Use the first paragraph to describe the project in a nutshell. The reader needs to have a good grasp of the project by just reading this paragraph.

Then, in a second paragraph, you can expand and provide further details about the nuts and bolts of the project. What is different to 'before'? List any proposed changes and explain why. This is your opportunity to get your key messages across. Consider using bullet points to make it easier to understand at a glance.

Include as much information as necessary to help the reader understand the issue and make an informed decision. Try to remain neutral in the language you use so you don't influence the outcome.

If there is a lot of information or it is a complex subject, consider creating FAQs (frequently asked questions) which can be added to the sidebar.

  • And again
  • Don't hesitate
  • To use bullet points.

Share your thoughts

This is a relatively standard section where we invite people to provide feedback and explain how they can do that - see below:

If you have comments on the XXXX, you can share them with us in the following ways:

  • By completing the survey below
  • By phone 9273 6000
  • By email mail@vincent.wa.gov.au
  • In person at the City of Vincent Administration Building, 244 Vincent Street (corner Loftus Street), Leederville (during business hours)
  • In writing, by mail to PO Box 82, Leederville, 6902

Hard copy surveys are available on request.

Consultation closes 4.30pm Monday, 18 September 2023.

What will happen next?

This is where we explain what the process is. Again, this is relatively standard, depending on whether your project is going to Council or not:

After this consultation period closes, we will summarise the feedback and update the policy as required. A report will then be presented to Council for adoption of the amended policy.

Everyone who provides feedback will be notified when the policy is due to be considered by Council. Members of the public are welcome to attend the Council Briefing and Council Meeting to ask questions or comment on the proposal.

Information on this page is available in alternative formats on request.

NB. The project image below is the one which will appear as the 'banner' at the top of your project page when it goes 'live' (confusingly, it is not the one on the set up page titled Banner Image!).
