Policy Development and Review Policy

The City of Vincent Council resolved on 15 September 2020 (Item 12.5.) to invite public comment on a proposed new Policy.

The Policy Development and Review Policy is proposed to replace Policy 4.1.01 - 'Policy Manual – Adoption and Review.

The substantive changes to are as follows:

• the policy objective has been broadened to provide guidance on the development, implementation, review and repeal of all documented City positions (strategies, policies and action plans);
• identifies the legislative hierarchy of local government documents; and
• aligns all documented City positions to the priorities of the City’s Strategic Community Plan (SCP).
