    Status: Consultation open. Closing 5pm, Monday 29 May 2023

    The area encompassing Brookman and Moir Streets is considered a place of significance. All 58 dwellings on these two streets are listed as Category A under the City of Vincent’s Municipal Heritage Inventory with the precinct also being listed in the State Register of Heritage Places.

    The City of Vincent is seeking community feedback on a proposal to designate Brookman and Moir Streets as a Heritage Area.

    Lacey Street is a unique street with a narrow road reserve and collection of complete federation-style buildings.

    The City of Vincent is seeking community feedback on a proposal to designate Lacey Street as a Character Area.

    A number of Design Guidelines were adopted by Council to ensure that new developments fit within the local context of each area. Now that each of the sites has been developed and there is suitable guidance remaining within the local and state planning framework, it is recommended the design guidelines be revoked.

    The City of Vincent is seeking community feedback on the proposal to revoke these guidelines.
