Consultation has concluded


City of Vincent Council resolved on 25 June 2019 to invite public comment on the Parking and Parking Facilities Amendment Local Law 2019.

The purpose of the Parking and Parking Facilities Amendment Local Law 2019 is to:

  • Introduce alternative methods of payment for parking
  • Create new definitions and offences
  • To make administrative modifications so that the local law aligns with the City’s current objectves and processes, and
  • Introduce a method for an authorised person to determine whether a vehicle presents a hazard or restricts lawful use of a public place

The proposed local law amendments can be viewed below.
