Consultation has concluded
The City of Vincent would like to know your thoughts about a proposed trial intersection treatment and permanent reduction of speed limit from 50km/hr to 40km/hr within North Perth.
Background
In April 2022 Council requested Administration engage the community over a 12-month trial of a ‘diagonal closure’ at the intersection of Alma Road and Leake Street, as well as seek the community’s feedback on their support of a permanent reduction in speed limit from 50km/hr to 40km/hr in North Perth area bounded Angove Street, Charles Street, Fitzgerald Street and Vincent Street.
The ‘Diagonal Diversion’ intent is to divert large commercial vehicles servicing the shopping precinct away from residential streets and use roads better aligned with the traffic demands.
