Development Details:

The application proposes an eight storey mixed use development, details of the proposed development include:

  • The first four storeys of the building have a nil setback to William Street, the fifth storey is setback 1.6 to 2 metres, the sixth and seventh are setback 2.9 to 4.9 metres and the eighth is setback 8.5 to 9.3 metres;
  • Commercial space on the ground floor level. The applicant has confirmed that the proposed land use for this space is Office;
  • 15 Multiple Dwellings (apartments) comprising of one single bedroom dwelling, 12 two bedroom dwellings and two three bedroom dwellings;
  • A total of 16 car parking spaces with eight on the ground floor level and eight on the mezzanine level;
  • Communal open space on the rooftop including BBQ facilities, seating areas and on-structure landscaping;
  • A rooftop solar array;
  • Vehicle access to the ground floor parking bays via a crossover from William Street and to the mezzanine level parking bays via Amy Street; and
  • Pedestrian access via a residential lobby from William Street.
