Development Details:

The proposal is for a six storey Mixed Use Development on the corner of Lord Street, Harold Street and Phelps Lane.

Details of proposal include the following:

The existing site (containing a single house) to be fully cleared.

  • A six-storey building containing a café tenancy and eight apartments, with each floor used as follows:
    1. Ground (GF) – a café tenancy, apartment lobby and parking area.
    2. First (1F) – two 3-bedroom apartments.
    3. Second (2F) – two 2-bedroom apartments.
    4. Third (3F) – two 2-bedroom apartments.
    5. Fourth (4F) – two 2-bedroom apartments.
    6. Fifth (5F) – a roof terrace.
  • Vehicle access would be provided from Phelps Lane.
  • Pedestrian access to the apartment lobby would be provided from Lord Street and access to the café tenancy would be provided from Harold Street.
  • 11 car parking bays would be provided. Of these 10 bays would be for the apartments and 1 bay would be for the café tenancy, with these located inside the building. The development does not propose any parking for visitors.
  • A roof terrace would be provided on the fifth floor, along with associated on-structure landscaping, for the use of the apartment occupants.
