Development Description: Proposed 8 Storey Mixed Use Development - Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP) Application

Development Details:

The proposal is for an eight storey Mixed Use Development on the corner of Oxford Street and Anzac Road.

Details of proposal include the following:

  • The sites to be cleared of existing structures
  • An eight storey building containing a shop tenancies and 36 apartments, with each floor used as follows:
    1. Ground (GF) – 285m2 of retail floor space;
    2. First (1F) – .Three 1-bedroom and one 2-bedroom apartments;
    3. Second (2F) – Two 1-bedroom, four 2-bedroom and one 3-bedroom apartments.
    4. Third (3F) – Two 1-bedroom, four 2-bedroom and one 3-bedroom apartments.
    5. Fourth (4F) – Two 1-bedroom, four 2-bedroom and one 3-bedroom apartments.
    6. Fifth (5F) – Two 1-bedroom, two 2-bedroom and one 3-bedroom apartments, and 30m2 of communal amenities;
    7. Sixth (6F) – Two 1-bedroom, two 2-bedroom and one 3-bedroom apartments; and
    8. Seventh (7F) – One 3-bedroom apartment and 129m2 of communal amenities.
  • Vehicle access would be provided from Anzac Road.
  • Pedestrian access to the apartment lobby would be provided from Anzac Road and access to the retail tenancies would be provided from Oxford Street.
  • A total of 60 parking bays spread across the Basement, Ground and First floors. Of these bays:
    1. 50 would be dedicated for residents;
    2. Four would be dedicated for the retail tenancies; and
    3. Six would be shared on a reciprocal bases between the retail tenancies and visitors for the apartments. There is no dedicated visitor parking proposed.
  • 474.9m2 of total on-structure landscaping, located on 1F-5F and 7F. This landscaping would include six medium trees and four small trees.
