Hyde Park East Playground Renewal
This consultation is now closed.
Hyde Park East playground is due for an update and we're asking you to tell us what you'd like to see there.
Project details
Constructed in 2009, the smaller playground on the corner of Glendower and William streets in the ever-popular Hyde Park needs a refresh and it's time to start planning.
Choose from a traditional playground or a ninja-style course.
A ninja course has different elements and obstacles which encourage balance, strength, climbing and jumping skills.
Traditional playgrounds range from upright cubby style to spread out multi-units.
We are asking people to tell us what play elements they would like to see at this playground by completing a short survey.
We’d also love the community’s help choosing a theme.
This project is part of the City's playground renewal program and is funded through the 2024/25 Capital Works Budget.
Project updates will become available on our website once construction begins.
