Edinboro Reserve Playground Renewal
This consultation is now closed.
We heard that the most popular elements for Edinboro playground were slides, swings, monkey bars and climbing frames - and there was a lot of love for the existing sandpit with its trucks and tractors!
People also suggested elements they'd seen and liked at other playgrounds in Perth, such as flying foxes.
We will now request concept designs based on this feedback, to include one with shade sails and one without, as opinion on this was divided if it compromised the amount of play equipment. Both concepts will have a combination of rubber softfall and softfall mulch.
Once these designs are available, we will consult again to find out which one the community prefers.
Project details
Edinboro Reserve playground in Mt Hawthorn is due for an update and we're asking you to tell us what you'd like to see there.
Constructed in 2000, the playground at Edinboro Street Reserve in Mt Hawthorn is in need of a refresh and we'd love your help with planning the makeover.
It has been well-used and well-loved by the area's littlest residents over the years, but is starting to look a little tired and outdated.
Help us shape the future of the playground by completing the survey below.
This project is part of the City's playground renewal program and is funded through the 2024/25 Capital Works Budget.
