Development Description: Telecommunications Infrastructure

Development Application Number: 5.2023.118.1

Development Details:

The proposal is for for the construction of Telecommunications Infrastructure at Britannia Reserve.

The application proposes:

  • The construction of a 35 metre tall monopole with 21 panel antennas. Including the antennas, the total height of the infrastructure would be 37.8 metres.
  • An equipment storage unit which would be located on the ground at the base of the monopole.
  • The Telecommunications Infrastructure is proposed to be located approximately 55 metres south of the club rooms within an area which has already been cleared (shown below).
  • The area would be fenced off with a 1.8 metre high garrison fence along with fill and retaining to achieve a level consistent with the existing brick wall.

The application is required to be determined by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC).

The City is not the decision maker on this application and only provides referral comments to the WAPC who will ultimately make a decision on the proposal.
