The draft Beaufort Street Town Centre Place Plan outlines the major initiatives to be implemented in the Beaufort Street Town Centre over the next four years.

The City is committed to creating and enhancing our town centres. By taking a place-based approach, we can effectively support our unique and vibrant town centres to make Vincent a great place for everyone.

City of Vincent Place Plans are our ‘place based’ strategic documents that help guide the direction of our town centres. A draft Beaufort Street Town Centre Place Plan has been prepared and is now available for viewing and comment.

Beaufort Street Town Centre Place Plan

The Beaufort Street Town Centre Place Plan will govern the allocation of funding and resources in the Beaufort Street Town Centre and includes a schedule of all major City of Vincent initiatives to be implemented over the next four years.

The draft Place Plan has been developed in collaboration with the City’s local town team for Beaufort Street, the Beaufort Street Network.

Key proposals in the draft place plan include electric vehicle stations, lighting and street furniture upgrades, plus improved cycling and pedestrian amenity.
