This consultation has now closed.

We're seeking community feedback on a proposal to change the intersection of Woodville and Angove Streets in North Perth.

Part of a new pedestrian and vehicle safety initiative, the median island would be landscaped and extended to prevent right turns into and out of Woodville Street from Angove Street. Extra pedestrian crossings would also be installed.

Benefits:

  • Safer crossing points on Angove Street for pedestrians
  • Restrict right turn movements from Woodville Street on to Angove Street preventing right turn crashes
  • Reduce the risk of 'rat running' from Angove Street onto Woodville Street
  • Support future speed reduction applications to Main Roads WA on Angove Street

Feedback closed 5pm Monday 20 March 2023

What will happen next?

Feedback from the community will be summarised and a recommendation presented to Council. Should Council endorse the proposal, a detailed design will be developed.

Everyone who provides feedback will be notified when the project is due to be considered by Council. Members of the public are welcome to attend the Council Briefing and Council Meeting to ask questions or comment on the project.
