Amendments to the Council Member Contact with Developers Policy

Public Notice of proposed amendments to the Council Member Contact with Developers Policy.

Public notice of the proposed amendments to the policy was approved by Council at its 17 May 2022 meeting.

A copy of the Council Agenda and Minutes relating to this approval are available at www.vincent.wa.gov.au.

The substantive changes to the policy are as follows:

1. inclusion of Policy objective;
2. inclusion of new clause 1e to provide guidance on the disclosure requirements of developer contact prior to lodgement of a development application; and
3. amendments to clause 3 requiring the CEO to create and maintain a confidential register of Council Member contact with the Developers prior to lodgement of a development application.
