Local Planning Scheme No.2 – Scheme Amendment No.10

Council, at its Ordinary Meeting held on 17 May 2022, endorsed consultation on Local Planning Scheme Amendment No.10. This amendment includes changes to the scheme as they relate to the following:

  • Amended objectives for local reserves and commercial zones;
  • Modification of permissibility of 'Caretakers Dwellings';
  • Reclassification of No.15 Haynes Street Reserve to Public Open Space;
  • Rewording of land zoning from 'R60-100' to 'R60/100';
  • Inserting provisions regarding trees that are shown on landscaping plans to be retained;
  • Changing the name of 'Advisory Committee' to replace with 'Review Panel';
  • Heritage Listing under TPS1 carried over into LPS2;
  • Additional provisions relating to compliance with conservation notices; and
  • Deleting supplemental provisions relating to the normalisation of the Lindsay Street Precinct.
