Amendment to Purchasing Policy

Update

At its meeting on 20 June 2023, Council adopted the amendments to the Purchasing Policy.

Background

Public notice of the proposed amendments to the Purchasing Policy was approved by City of Vincent Council at its meeting 4 April 2023.

Policy Amendment Details

The substantive changes to the policy are as follows:

1. Amending the purchasing thresholds.
2. Amending the required number of quotations for preferred supplier panels.
3. Amending the Contract Management Framework threshold for the requirement of a formal contract.
4. Separating and amending the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Disability Enterprise principles.
5. Amending the procurement exemptions.
