Consultation has concluded

On 29 April 2019 the City commenced trial to research the effects of 40km/h speeds on residential roads in Vincent's southern suburban areas.

Now, three years later, we want to know how residents are feeling about the trial and what effect this has had on the use of the residential streets for more recreational uses, as well as any perceived effects on speed, traffic and safety in their local area. Your feedback will assist us in evaluating the results and effectiveness of the 40km/h speed zone trial.

The City and the Road Safety Commission are also collecting crash records, traffic data and other measurements that will be considered as part of the trial evaluation.

We understand that the current COVID-19 pandemic has changed activity and travel patterns over this period. Please know that we are taking this into account in our evaluation of the trial.

We are seeking your general feedback about the trial, as it has now been in place for the last three years.

You can find out more about the previous phases of the project here.
