This proposal is for six (6) grouped dwellings across 14 and 16 Woodville Street, North Perth, at the corner of Woodville Street and Menzies Street. The site is bounded by Woodville Street to the west, Menzies Street to the north, and a 3-metre wide right of way to the east. To the south is a single storey commercial development containing hospitality venues.
The application proposes a three-to-four storey residential development comprising six dwellings in a terrace configuration, fronting Menzies Street.
Details of proposal include the following:
- 11 residential car bays accessed via a communal street (driveway) from the right of way (laneway).
- Nil visitor car bays.
- Units 2 – 5 with roof terraces. The roofed portion of these terraces, adjoining the lifts, is the ‘fourth storey’.
- Landscaping to the front setback area of Menzies Street and within the Communal Street, including 10 small trees.
- Each dwelling with pedestrian access to Menzies Street, and Unit 1 with access to Woodville Street.
